DERBY TT : WALTER REEVES HANDICAP CUP 2008-2009 v4

The 'format' of the handicap will be run the same as last season.
Each PLAYER will carry THEIR OWN individual handicap. The TEAM handicap
will therefore be calculated by adding together the handicaps of the 3
players playing ON THE NIGHT ( plus the handicap for the doubles ).
The individual player handicaps have been calculated as follows :
Handicaps are based on the division played-in during the 2007-2008
season , and the % games won in that division .
If a team is promoted/relegated, the handicap is still based on the above.
If a player did not play in the league last season (ie. no stats available),
then their handicap is based on the division that they are playing in THIS season,
with the percentage of their games won this season taken into account.
Where a player is 'NEW' to the league and has not yet played any matches,
their handicap will be the middle of that of the other players in their team.
Where a team is 'NEW' to the league and have not yet played any matches ,each
player will be assigned a handicap that is the 'mid point' for that division.
The competition organiser can/will adjust an individuals handicap if the
player was ‘playing’ in a division ‘below’ their standard.
Where a player is 'playing UP' they will carry with them the handicap
assigned to them by the competition organiser ( currently Aubrey Henry).

handicap is attached below .
